Rainmaker Shows Private Limited (RMS) is an Event Company that provide services to major clients such as Changi Airport Group (CAG). RMS has executed successful events at Jewel and across various terminals of Changi Airport like Get Your Game On!, Rilakkuma and T3 Underground Carnival and Disney 100 and Avatar Purchase-with-Purchase event promotion. Roles and responsibilities β’ Coordinating and facilitating the daily operations of events such as overseeing the maintenance of carnival rides and equipment β’ Liaise with various stakeholders such as ENGIE Services Singapore to ensure that all the programmes run smoothly β’ Train new event crews on performing their duties such as product knowledge, customer service skills and inventory stock-taking
I was involved in RMS ad-hoc events as Event Crew during their end-of-year Christmas events, managing sales and customers. Roles and Responsibilities β’ Exhibit excellent customer service skills and high product knowledge through seamless interaction with customers to help clear any doubts, receiving email compliments during events β’ Exhibit effective crowd control especially during peak hours, with a high customer turnover rate β’ Coordinated stock-checking on the merchandises and ensure seamless sales throughout the entire day β’ Train new event crews on product knowledge, cashiering and inventory check β’ Increased sales through effectively using POS System during cashiering
As a passionate Programme Architect Intern (Youth Corps Leaders Programme) at Youth Corps Singapore, I had the incredible opportunity to shape meaningful projects that empower and uplift communities. From planning the dynamic Cohort 29 Celebration Day to integrating cutting-edge technology for efficient communication for Cohort 32 Stakeholders, my journey was a blend of creativity and strategic thinking. Collaborating with diverse stakeholders, I embraced adaptive communication, ensuring every voice was heard. Roles and Responsibilities: β’ Support programme management such as briefings, coordination, and correspondence with stakeholders β’ Assist in programme development elements such as programme outline and training modules β’ Prepare logistics and provide administrative support for milestones β’ Photo/video taking and creating of video montage β’ Support and Assist other YCS Programmes: Youth Corps Community Internship Learning Journey, Outreach and Engagement Ageing Simulation, and Community Collaborators Coding Game for Kids Highlights: β’ Successful planning and execution of Youth Corps Leaders Programme Cohort 29 Celebration Day which involved over a hundred Aspirants and Stakeholders β’ Successful execution of Youth Corps Leaders Programme Cohort 32 various milestones (Selection Exercise, Induction Camp and Skills Training Workshop) which involves over a hundred Aspirants and Stakeholders β’ Successful facilitation of Outreach and Engagement Ageing Simulation event, which involves over twenty volunteers to cultivate empathy for the elderly community β’ Successful execution of Youth Corps Community Internship Learning Journey to Eco-Ark and Little India Cultural Trail (Migrant Workers) respectively, which involves over fifty Explorers and Stakeholders
As part of my Case Management & Supervised Practicum module, I was posted to The SBL Vision Family Service with Ms Juliet as my appointed supervisor. During my 25-hours practicum, I had the opportunity to interact with people of various ages and background, ranging from experienced social workers to children of the beneficiaries. Roles and responsibilities β’ Job shadow my supervisor counselling sessions with a youth at-risk and review her case management and questioning techniques together post-session β’ Facilitated a workshop for ten children under their Interactive Kids Club (IKC) programme which aims to empower children of beneficiaries with relevant soft skills β’ Assisted a pair of siblings with usage of technological tools such as iPad during the various activities like the food pyramid game β’ Designed posters for IKC such as ground rules for the children to follow. Overall, this experience increased my confidence and enhanced my case management through actively applying my knowledge and skills into real life context and situations (e.g., drawing of genogram and case roleplaying sessions).
