As the founder of Odyssey Psychological Assessment and Counselling Services, my goal is to provide exemplary clinical and forensic psychological services to residents of Airdrie, Calgary, and surrounding areas. Psychological Assessment and counselling.
Responsible for managing and supervising a national clinical network of psychologists. Participate in clinician consultation and review of Substance Abuse and psychological Fitness to work assessments. Communication and consultation regarding clinical issues and assisting employees within the workplace and returning to work. Plan, organize, support and monitor successful clinical performance implementing evidence-based and evidence informed treatment.
Responsible for assessing psychological and criminogenic needs of correctional inmates within the Federal system. Determining compliance, receptiveness to treatment, and appropriate type and level of intervention required. Assessing risk of violent, non-violent, and sexual recidivism. Providing psychological assistance to inmates in acute need, including Self-injurious behavior, crisis intervention, suicidal behavior. Long-term therapeutic interventions. Assessment and treatment evaluations to determine security level, Program placement, release and relapse plans. Recommending post-release management strategies in the community. Accepting assignments as the Acting Chief Psychologist ensuring adequate functioning of the department and supervising peers.
Responsible for crisis counseling and short term interventions with a Provincially remanded and incarcerated male and female adult population.
Research assistant aiding in the re-norming of the Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale IV (WAIS-IV) and the Wechsler Essential Academic test (WEASI) for children and adults.
