Nadia's passion and enjoyment in working with people has always been evident, which is why it came as no surprise when she decided to become a therapist. But long before launching her practice in counselling, coaching, and training, Nadia was the Regional Human Resources Director for Vericon Outsourcing, a labour placement business in the Bidvest Group. In this company, her work ethic, professionalism, and personal drive saw her career growth take her from HR Officer to Regional Director in just four short years. A few years later, Nadia started Global Personnel and Relocation Specialists (Global PRS), a wholly-owned black consulting firm, consisting of highly qualified and experienced associates, each providing a service in their specific area of expertise. Hers ranged from, amongst others, mediation and representation at the CCMA, to training all soft skills and HR-related courses. From her own leadership experience and studies in the areas of human behaviour and organisations (she holds a B.Com. Honours in Industrial Psychology and a B.A. Honours in Clinical Psychology), Nadia understands the importance of emotional well-being and its effect on individuals and the success of businesses. As such, she’s made it her personal mission to help organisations build more positive and healthy work cultures where the emotional well-being of employees is of utmost importance, and a mindset of “treating employees like they make a difference” is the order of the day. Like Richard Branson, she believes that “if you take care of your employees, they will take care of the clients”. Her unique ability to build rapport across all levels in an organisation makes her approachable to delegates, which certainly helps in creating conducive learning environments. In addition to this, Nadia’s ability to use curiosity and directness to help delegates get to the heart of their challenges, as well as the ability to ask intuitive and challenging questions, helps bring powerful awareness to the client. She brings this knowledge alive in a learning environment through her energetic approach and engaging style, which is her key ingredient to mobilising others around her.
