I Am Real enables platforms to validate the true identity of their users, in real time, using social & video verification technologies, mitigating the risk attributed to unverified users, through simple integration with APIs and widgets. I defined the product strategy, development, and long-term roadmap, constantly gathering the clients’ requirements and aligning them with the company’s goals. As leader of marketing & sales I promoted the product on a worldwide scale.
Top7 is a recommendation platform that utilizes rich media to engage users in the creation of personal ‘Best Of ‘ lists, used to deliver highly personalized suggestions based on individual taste. A personalized search engine, Top7 utilizes information made available through public sources. As CTO, and later on VP R&D, I recruited and led the R&D team to achieve high quality results in a time-constrained manner. I crafted machine learning based, big data algorithms and infrastructure for Top7’s next generation search engine, and communicated with potential market partners, forming strategic business relationships.
Sun Microsystems, Inc. (Acquired by Oracle) was a company involved in creating the Java programming language, and the Network File System (NFS). Sun significantly enabled the progression of several key computing technologies, among them Unix, RISC Processors, Thin Client Computing, and virtualized computing. At Sun Microsystems, I managed and synchronized the development of core features of the Java Virtual Machine for mobile platforms, and functioned as a group tech lead (~60 ppl). My role also included the creation of PC-based SDKs for mobile development, and various projects with customers such as LG, Samsung, CMCC, Verizon and more. Additionally I led the core technology development for a large scale App Store for Verizon USA – a $40M project, spanning across teams in China, Korea, Israel, Ireland and USA.
