I am a Final year law student with a strong passion for litigation and commercial arbitration. My internships with distinguished advocates and law firms have provided me with firsthand experience of courtroom advocacy, drafting, intricacies of legal practice reinforcing my aspiration to pursue litigation. At the same time, my deep interest in the field of Arbitration more particularly Commercial Arbitration has been shaped by actively attending Arbitration proceedings, avid reading and research, leading me to explore its evolving role in commercial dispute resolution.
Research Works: 1) Researched on validity of Mandatory pre Deposit under Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. 2) Researched on conditions under which a Advocate commissioner is appointed. 3) Researched on whether Provisions of Order 8 Rule 1 are mandatory or directory. 4) Researched on client's liability in case of a counsels negligence. 5) Researched on whether signature of a party is mandatory in an arbitration agreement. Drafting Work: 1) Assisted in drafting a S.21 Arbitration Notice. 2) Assisted in drafting a Special Leave Petition. 3) Assisted in Drafting a S.34 Arbitration application for setting aside the arbitral award
1) Researched on process for registration of a property as an Air BNB. 2) Researched on Rights of De Jure and De facto owner of a property. 3) Prepared a case brief on several judgements related to oppression of minority shareholders under Companies Act. 4)Researched on scope of determinable contract under Indian Contracts act and it's enforceability.
1) Researched on criteria for attendance in educational institutions and maintainabilty of a writ petition under Article 226 against a private educational institution. 2) Grant of Bail in cases of NDPS. 3) Researched on whether supply of solar irrigation water pumping system would come within the ambit of works contract or sales contract for the purpose of applicability of Goods and services tax. 4) Prepared a Research Note on Maharashtra Protection of Interest of Depositers act. 5) Researched on concept of Right to be forgotten and whether it would come within the ambit of Right to Privacy under Article 21 of the Constitution of India.
Researched on various propositions of law related to 1) Discharge under Section 227 CrPC. 2) Grant of bail in cases of Grievous hurt. 3) Modification in Tender clauses and its validity Attended various court proceedings at the High Court of Judicature Bombay, Nagpur Bench, Labour court, State Consumer Dispute Redressal Commission. Assisted in drafting 1) Petition for quashment of FIR. 2) Bail application.
