Hello, I am Natalie Chua and I am currently a final year student pursuing a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering specialising in Energy and Facilities Management, at Singapore Polytechnic. I have a strong passion for engineering, problem solving, and hands on learning, and I am determined to build a solid foundation in mechanical systems, technical operations, and engineering design. I take pride in my adaptability, attention to detail, and strong work ethic, qualities that have helped me grow both academically and personally throughout my diploma journey. Outside the classroom, I am an active member of the Singapore Polytechnic Swim Team, where I currently serve as the Treasurer. Taking on this leadership role has strengthened my sense of responsibility, communication, and organizational skills, as I manage team finances while balancing academic and training commitments. Being part of the swim team has also taught me resilience, discipline, teamwork, and time management, shaping me into a motivated and well-rounded individual who thrives under pressure and continuously strives to improve. Through my specialization in Energy and Facilities Management, I have developed a growing interest in building systems, sustainable operations, and the practical applications of engineering in real-world environments. I am particularly interested in opportunities that allow me to gain hands-on industry experience while learning from professionals in the engineering and operations sector. I am excited to further develop both my technical and communication skills, gain valuable industry exposure, and contribute meaningfully to any team or organization I am part of. I am always eager to learn, grow, and take on new challenges that will help me become a better engineer and individual.
