In charge of the global purchasing strategy for sheet metal parts.
Purpose: Reporting to the Regional Sourcing Director, I manage the business relationship with named suppliers for the category "Machined parts". Duties: - Consolidation of a world class supplier base by aligning the group forces to one important negotiation. - Achievement of the best possible conditions for the Group, regarding prices, right quality, payment & delivery terms. - Scouting of new potential suppliers to ensure a solid and competitive supply chain. - Monitoring and sharing of KPI to suppliers, giving them indications how to improve their performance.
Purpose: Reporting to the Vice President Sourcing Module&Product development, I act as interface between Engineering, Sourcing Commodities and Suppliers in R&D projects, managing sourcing activities and preparing procurement, with the aim to achieve the best in class supply in terms of quality, cost and LT. Duties: - Lead, develop and deliver sourcing plan for the assigned R&D projects. - Analysis of the scope of supply and support the early involvement of strategic suppliers in concept study. - Support in the definition of the target cost. - Lead and define the bidlist of suppliers and manage the RFQ. - Define the make/buy strategy. - Ensure new product/supplier qualification before end of industrial rump-up.
Purpose: Reporting to the Global Sourcing Manager, I manage the assigned strategic suppliers, working in a long-term business relationship. Duties: - Spend analysis and definition of the Sourcing strategies for the assigned strategic Suppliers. - Lead RFQ, negotiation and actions to reduce the price of the product. - Identification, development and implementation of saving activities. - Definition and maintenance of global agreements and price lists. - Support Engineering and Sales for the cost analysis of new equipment to prepare the offers. - Scouting of new suppliers.
Duties: - Procurement activities, issue and expedite purchase orders. - Negotiation of prices. - Frequent visits to Suppliers to check the progress of the PO and the status of the Supplier.
