Working as a Founder in the field of womenswear industry under the namesake brand. I am responsible for all aspects of buying, procurement and supply chain Management. Managing a team of 4-5 merchandisers and 3 designers. I'm responsible for end to end project cycle with focus on cost reduction and product development, maintaining exceptional quality. Have worked with various brands and retailers across different regions in India.
* Leading and evolving the creative process from concept to completion ensuring consistency across colour, form, print and aesthetic material direction. * Revising client and garment notes after each fitting and making the necessary changes to make sure all the information is passed on correctly * Cross check that each individual project is viable by referencing historical patterns, projects and cross checking the both the Pattern Maker and the Seamstress in charge of the project * Pattern cutting and supporting the atelier when necessary * Participating in all design/development/salesman sample fittings, being on hand to attend in production fittings as necessary * Supervise the costing structure per garment and make sure all elements are considered and approved before proposing the total to the client * Responsible for sourcing, ordering and organizing the necessary materials for each individual project, making sure that the items can be ordered within a viable time frame * Being aware of all the lead times of the suppliers of the pieces ordered and making sure these are coherent with the dates provided to clients * Managing the process from initial touch base with the client, through the fitting and confection stage, quality and control and delivering of the item to the client. * Creating and delivering seasonal and long term design strategy for the business with a sharp and impeccable level of detail. * Studying the marketplace and generate ideas that will be relevant and congruent to the target market and consumers. * Be working proactively to identify risks and find commercial solutions without jeopardising the overarching creative vision. * Identifying opportunities for the brand to be an innovator in the marketplace.
* Develop and execute a dynamic PR strategy and implement product and brand communication for corporates as well as all of the brands in the portfolio * Work directly with founders, brand managers, and each brand’s respective marketing teams to help manage and coordinate day-to-day PR activities across the company * Strategize and communicate regularly with external PR business partners in outreach to magazines, celebrities, influencers, and other media outlets for pitching and product placements * Consistently pitch and secure media coverage * Build and manage relationships with influencers, editors, stylists, and other relevant partners * Help plan and execute PR/marketing events * Work with celebrities, influencers, and other VIP guests for event dressing and styling appointments * Manage and organize the system for tracking samples issued to media and stylists * Monitor, track, and share all press activities and placements with internal and external teams * Create and share monthly press recaps with internal and external teams * Collaborate with content/marketing team to ideate and create relevant decks for internal and external use * Collaborate with content team on social initiatives and campaigns (including, but not limited to, Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, and YouTube) for product launches, PR initiatives, and other relevant stories * Partner in the development and maintenance of content calendar (including social media * Communicate, coordinate, and work with external PR partners on any new product launches, events and campaigns and share any relevant asset
