Mission: Identifies, assesses, and prioritizes computing risks to the enterprise, establishes strategies to address risk, assures and secures the Agency’s systems, networks, programs and data in the face of internal and external threats while appropriately balancing risk opportunity and cost. •Acts as the certifying authority and authorizing official for DISA •Provides DISA-specific guidance and direction on proper risk management and system assurance, and ensuring that information and cybersecurity policies are implemented and adhered to across the Agency •Sets DISA’s strategy for targeting future cyber security technologies, leads cyber innovation across the Agency, and champions cyber workforce development initiatives within DISA •Manages DISA’s Clinger-Cohen Act program, National Defense Authorization, and DoD Information Technology Portfolio Repository •Oversee and execute the Agency’s FISMA, Risk Management Framework, and Circuit Program •DISA’s key Insider Threat leader for providing threat mitigation strategies and plans
