Interest in biology started as a teenager at school in the UK and school holidays at home in Southern California looking at and reading about tidal pools. This scientific interest remains as life began in the oceans and primitive life allows insight into more complex life that followed. Teaching at Guy's, St Thomas's and Kings College London. Private practice Harley Street London and Cambridge UK. Now fully based in Cambridge. Founded scientific research company, Hypo-Stream, to investigate the phylogenetics forerunner of the mammalian Innate Immune Response (IIR). The discoveries shone a light on the evolutionary successors to antibiotics, with discovery of compounds with multiple potential therapeutic uses.
