Michael Klein is a Managing Director, Emerging Technology Lead within Accenture's Innovation practice where he is responsible for the growth of emerging technology capabilities within the Americas. Over the past decade, he was responsible for growing a number of emerging technology practices including in-memory databases, API management, and spatial computing, with a special focus on blockchain and decentralized identity. He has more than 20 years of experience building a diverse range of technology solutions across healthcare, cloud, and emerging technologies. Prior to his work in emerging technologies, Michael spent 10 years as a delivery executive and architect within Accenture’s Health Technology practice where he held a variety of positions throughout the health insurance industry. He has deep experience in health payer technologies, data, and systems with functional focuses on eligibility, billing, claims, actuarial, and underwriting.
