I interned on the Juicer team. I designed and implemented a clustering engine for fully online email template induction. The engine reduced CPU by 58%, memory by 93%, and disk by 90% relative to the existing system.
I interned on the F1 team. I designed and implemented incrementally maintained materialized views in F1: a distributed relational database system.
I interned on the Google Cloud Dataflow team. I reorganized and refactored parts of Google Cloud Dataflow's C++ backend responsible for data sharding and work balancing.
I wrote a distributed fault simulator in Go and JavaScript that simulated network partitions, disk saturation, cache flushes, and machine failures in MongoDB clusters.
