Responsible for setting up a new department with staff, R4V creation process, planning and work guidelines. We produce a variety of Automotive industrial chargers ranging from 25 to 600kW. NPI in liaison with our customer aligning the development of new products resulting in a functional prototype followed by a first system delivering the production and pricing information. Finetuning the production information in a zero-serie, ready for volume production in a lean production street. As our customer operates in a new market where a fast introduction time is essential, the daily challenge is to stick to the processes to guarantee quality but also keeping the NPI department flexible to cope with unplanned new developments. 95% of the 20+ projects within budget and delivered on time.
Responsible for optimizing software and business processes for the Development, Manufacturing and Customer support divisions. Key Achievements - Introduced SAP/NX -Team Center Interface at Mechanical Development department - Introduced SAP Engineering Change Management (ECM) for the manufacturing and mechanical department - Co-created the ECM process, blueprint, organized brown paper sessions. This resulted in an ECM manual including many detailed steps and RACI matrix. Users approximately 1000-3000 staff. In use for more than 10 years now - Co-created the business processes (As-Is and To-Be) for the work instructions for Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering and Customer support. Made blueprint for the various SAP interfaces. Took part in the implementation as team member. The new work instruction system was delivered in phases. Cost of the project's first four phases €1.6M , users 4000+, 20000+ work instructions, implementation timespan 4 years - Various improvement projects, from blueprint to implementation - Next to the project participation, responsible for the changes on the Work Instruction software. From specification to the implementation including release management.
