As Manager of Parts Production at Siemens for over eight years, I lead a team responsible for daily operations across multiple production areas, including punching, bending, welding, and painting. By focusing on key performance indicators, I ensure quality, efficiency, and timely delivery while optimizing machine utilization and resource allocation. My role extends to budget planning, maintenance program evaluation, and fostering a motivated team environment to achieve operational excellence. My leadership approach emphasizes sustainable innovation and collaboration, exemplified by the MESS Mixed Sector Environment Award for advancements in surface pre-treatment. * Responsible of a team including about 7 white collar and 80 blue collar employees with 3 shift working. * Leading daily production operations (punching, bending, welding, painting, copper and isolation production areas.) * Leading and motivating the team to reach related KPI’s both for quality and process efficiency. (Ensuring optimum machine utilization and product scheduling.) * Evaluating and contributing to implementation of maintenance programs. * Planning and proposing unit’s budget & deciding and allocating financial and personnel resources within given limits. * Managing and developing all the respective workflow process to ensure all production targets (Quality, Quantity, Delivery in time) are achieved. * Montioring the non conformity performance of each employee and ensuring to reach quality target. * Ensuring availability of working instructions, rules and guidelines for all productions sections, shifts or production lines assigned. * Designing and proposing short and midterm development of each station, setting up and monitoring completion of agreed investment projects. * Implementing defined superior policies and guidelines and ensuring the implementation of function specific processes, procedures, methods and tools. * Leading CIP, lean and digitalization projects with cross-functional teams as; Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Maintenance, Quality and Digitalization. * Ensuring adherence at any time to relevant internal and local EHS-standards. * Being a role model at EHS, Quality and environmental topics. (MESS Mixed Sector Environment Award - 2020) * Leading the process improvements, benchmark projects and performance managements. * Supporting the staff loyalty by checking the pulse of the employees and engaging with the team. * Preparing the action plan in accordance with the business plans and objectives of the company and to implement the actions in coordination with the relevant units. * Communicating and managing the uninon relations.
* Directing the production planning and outsource management teams (including 7 white collar empleyee) * Production planning of 5 different assembly lines and parts production area. * Outsource management including 4 suppliers for assembly and 5 suppliers for parts production. * Ensuring the delivery and quality perfomance of each outsource company. * Leading the daily production meetings and hold monthly meetings with factory management. * Defining employee and capacity requirements according to short and long term forecasts.
* Decide delivery dates for new projects, according to customer requests and production capacity. * New orders entry into the planning files, M-TOOL and SAP systems. * SAP scheduling activities after primary material transfer. * Decide the lot quantities of the orders and release the mechanical parts on the SAP system. * Control the milestones of ordering processes. Analyze for new dates if any delay or update occurs in material transfer dates. * Lead the daily production meetings. Gather actual informations about the orders during these meetings and revise the daily targets if needed. * Arrange the orders according to their priorities after analysing the weekly output reports and production capacity plan. Updating the delivery dates if there is no possibility to reach the target. * Prepare the weekly and monthly workload diagrams and determine production shifts for each line. * Update the production sequence according to the informations received from Supply Chain Management and Pre-production. * İmprovement activities about the planning files and processes.
* Supply chain processes; ordering, supplying, shipping and receiving for new projects. * Responsible for the CKD parts (~1200 items) of Matrix and i20 models. * Responsible for the engine CKD parts of Accent, Matrix, i20 models. (considering the previous usage ratios) * Responsible for the balance weight CKD parts used at the tire pre-assembly line. (considering the previous usage ratios) * Gather information of production status, packaging status and shipping status of the items from global suppliers, and guide the long term and short term production plans. * Update the receiving datas and stock datas by MRP system and getting daily report. Also inform all related people. * Revise the stock status if any delay or any insufficient status appears during production period. After revising the stock level we change the production plan and initiate necessary actions to prevent any other part shortages. If changing the production plan is not possible because of the stock status, we release urgent orders or we request logistic agency to make the shipment schedule more faster. * Order preparation and sending to vendors through the system * Prepare firm and forecast orders to global suppliers. * Stock optimization studies according to the balance out and face lift projects. * Design the physical material counting system with IT. * Leading the production kick-off project for the new car model at Hyundai Assan Automotiv. (CKD parts supplied from India, China and South Korea without any delay) * Re-define the inventory levels of each CKD parts to reach the optimum flexibility at production planning.
* Underwriting the insurance policies including the buildings, machinery and equipments owned by companies, employees about the business activities, 3rd parts responsibility to other people, neighborhoods or against commercial customers related to product. * Inform all customers about the changes or insurance renewal processes. * Inform insurance compaines, if any changes occurs to the insured matter during insurance period. * Visit new custemers and inform them about the insurance types and coverages. According to customer request we prepare the optimum coverages and asked the insurance companies to participate these coverages. * Study on the new types of insurances, not used in Turkey. Informing the customers and insurance companies about these studies.
