As founding commercial lead at a Dubai RWA tokenization platform, I built the entire business-development motion from zero: - Sourced, negotiated and closed a cross-border UAE-to-Europe real-estate private debt issuance (~10M EUR), structured across multiple jurisdictions. - Acted as lead negotiator on an institutional raise, securing $1M in commitments while valuation talks were still open. - Built a B2B sales engine from scratch: 8 deals closed (~$240K), 15+ active partnerships, and a platform that grew to 100+ tokenized projects. - Ran the PR and exhibition motion behind a PropTech Company of the Year award at a flagship Dubai property show. My edge: I came up as a software engineer before moving into commercial roles. So I can hold a real conversation with founders, technical teams, and institutional investors, not from a deck. I care about this because tokenization can genuinely widen access to assets that were locked away for decades. Done right, it is one of the most democratizing shifts in finance.
