I am currently an M.D. candidate at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. Formerly, I completed an MPhil in Health, Medicine, and Society at the University of Cambridge, where I explored the intersections of medical anthropology, medical sociology, and philosophy of medicine. I also completed my undergraduate degree in medical anthropology, with minors in chemistry and bioethics at CWRU. As part of my academic and professional development, I have gained valuable experience in various healthcare settings. I am passionate about learning new skills and perspectives that can enhance my understanding of health and medicine. I aim to become a physician who can provide compassionate and culturally competent care to diverse populations. I am actively seeking new opportunities for professional growth.
Worked as a tutor at a prominent college prep center in the Midwest. Subjects taught include: SAT, ACT, AP Chemistry, AP Physics, AP Calculus, and College Essay Revision.
Responsibilities include capturing detailed information during appointments, optimizing workflow, and facilitating communication within the healthcare team. I am committed to maintaining high-quality and compliant medical records while supporting healthcare providers in delivering excellent patient care.
Worked as a clinical assistant and was responsible for rooming patients, obtaining HPI, special testing (OCT scans, fundus photos, visual field testing), and assisting the physician with procedures. Also observed cataract surgeries and became proficient in electronic health record maintenance.
