I was recruited to execute and ensure the processing of import operations and manage every spare parts orders. I also report directly to the logistics manager. SPARE PARTS / MACHINE – PROCUREMENT & LOGISTICS & IMPORT The initial stage of the job starts by gathering orders from warranty, service and spare parts sales department in logistics’ order pool. Logistics specialist should check availabilty in warehouses. In case of missing parts, it goes through the procurement process from the suppliers. In order to deliver the shipments on time, the main role is to carry out the loading and delivery operation effectively with the forwarder. Ensuring that all import products comply with the LIEBHERR procedures and Customs Legislation. (If necessary, applying to TSE-Tareks –risk system-) Being in coordination with the finance department regarding payments during the import. Make sure of the accuracy of stocktaking and entering them to local system. Periodic reporting of import operations (freight & storage charges, delivery performance Performing return shipment regarding dead-stock, cancelled, excess or wrong shipments and informing the related departments. Monitoring the flow of customs, warehouse, transportation and prepare contracts to submit them to the management. Taking responsibility for import of main machines since July 2021
I was recruited to carry out all operational works and to be the exclusive agent of the new French customer Legrand. After 1 year experience, I took charge in Industry Desk at the end of the service quality assessment. EXPORT / IMPORT – ORDER MANAGEMENT & CUSTOMER CARE & LOGISTICS Acceptance of customer reservations and planning of loading in the most efficient way, providing accurate information flow to the customer on time. Managing customer master data. Follow up of the documentation and pursue corrections if needed. Perform tasks as per Team Leader&Sale Manager’s instructions. Weekly reporting of ETD/ETA. Set up face-to-face meetings with customers to analyze their needs and expectations and offer suitable solutions. Finding detailed reason codes for delayed deliveries and present them to team leaders at monthly meetings. Resolving customer complaints (such as damage, loss, delayed delivery) with Customer Care Services to provide solutions (mostly in accordance with the terms of the contract).
