In a partnership project between the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction, the Department of Health and Human Services, and CBCSE, we are examining state programming such as NC PreK, Subsidized Child Care, IDEA B, and IDEA C. The outcomes we study will include indicators of student learning and engagement from kindergarten through third grade, as these years demonstrate how children’s academic trajectory begins and persists throughout later academic years.
Interdisciplinary fellowship that prepares trainees to provide high-quality, family-centered, culturally competent policy that addresses the complex needs of children with autism, related disabilities and other maternal and child health populations.
