Since 1945 Mr. Indra Angkola has been fuel distributor Stanvac brand (SHELL Affiliation) in Padang Sidimpuan, North Sumatra. In 1965, PEMINA stand (now known as Pertamina) after there is an assessment of oil and gas nationalisation asset. Then institute of distributor rise their status to become SPBU Pertamina in 1970. Since 1971, Founder of Indra Company Limited Corporates continue to expand his business to become fuel transporter and kerosene agency in South Tapanuli. In 1986, he has given trust to thrive his business market to supply Pertamina Liquid Propane Gas (LPG) in South Sumatra such as Nias, Sibolga, Padang Sidimpuan, and Mandailing Natal. Over time which Government comes out with UU Pemerintah No. 22 Tahun 2001, which about liberation of oil and gas company and also Peraturan Pemerintah No.36 tahun 2004. Once again, the Government has given an opportunity to private company to participate in oil and gas business activities which it held with a mechanism of healthy and transparent competition. This led the background of Indra Angkola Group to contribute oil and gas company to compete in business activities and also to become a stakeholder in agency fuel distribution of Pertamina since 30 January 2007. Land distribution with fuel truck starts from North Sumatra, then, it expands to others province such as Sumatra, Java, Kalimantan and Sulawesi Islands. In the beginning 2016, fuel service and distribution has reach sea area such as Belawan and Tanjung Priok port (2018).
