Muhammet graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine with an honorary degree in 2015. He did research on behaviour patterns related to cruelty to animals among students and currently writing a doctoral thesis titled "Value Expressions Related to Animal Ethics in Ecological Utopias". He worked in various companion animal practices as a general practitioner and ER vet in Turkey and joined Companion Care Hemel Hempstead in 2023. He has a keen interest for dermatology cases. He managed the secretary needs of the Turkish Journal of Bioethics (TJOB) (2016-2020) and acted as an editorial board member for HUBAM Reflections on Bioethics from Turkey (2020- ). He is now serving as the Co-Editor of the Turkish Journal of Bioethical Reflections. His academic interests are medical humanities, animal rights, animal welfare, ethics of animal research and clinical research ethics. He was in Turkish Art Music Choir of Ankara University for some time and plays some of the wind instruments. He is interested in long cycling tours and wishes to start metal detecting as an hobby any time soon.
