With over 20 years of experience in the fertilizer industry, Usman is a seasoned Process Engineer currently leading the Process Engineering Department at Fauji Fertilizer Company Limited (FFC) — the largest fertilizer manufacturer in Pakistan. As Head of Process Engineering, he has overseen the design, monitoring, energy & cost optimization, and troubleshooting of the Ammonia-Urea Complex and its associated utilities across both FFC-I and FFC-II plants. Spearheaded and contributed to numerous strategic engineering projects, including: ✅ Installation & commissioning of 02 Zinc-Coated Urea Production lines. ✅ Deployment of digitalization solutions for 04 ammonia plants. ✅ BMR studies with licensors for Ammonia & Urea complexes. ✅ Installation of ammonia/hydrogen recovery units and the inert gas generation plant. ✅ Implementation of vibro-prilling systems. ✅ Development of an Operator Training Simulator for fertilizer complexes & more His expertise further extends to catalyst replacement, root cause analysis, performance evaluation, and HAZOP studies, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable operations.
