With over 20 years of experience in the fertilizer industry, Usman is a seasoned Process Engineer currently leading the Process Engineering Department at Fauji Fertilizer Company Limited (FFC) — the largest fertilizer manufacturer in Pakistan. As Head of Process Engineering, he has overseen the design, monitoring, energy & cost optimization, and troubleshooting of the Ammonia-Urea Complex and its associated utilities across both FFC-I and FFC-II plants. Spearheaded and contributed to numerous strategic engineering projects, including: ✅ Installation & commissioning of 02 Zinc-Coated Urea Production lines. ✅ Deployment of digitalization solutions for 04 ammonia plants. ✅ BMR studies with licensors for Ammonia & Urea complexes. ✅ Installation of ammonia/hydrogen recovery units and the inert gas generation plant. ✅ Implementation of vibro-prilling systems. ✅ Development of an Operator Training Simulator for fertilizer complexes & more His expertise further extends to catalyst replacement, root cause analysis, performance evaluation, and HAZOP studies, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable operations. Worked as Section Head Process Engineering and responsible for 1100MTPD Ammonia & 1925MTPD Urea Plant with associated Utilities [including boilers, cooling towers, instrument air, cryogenic N2 generation, waste water disposal etc].
