About

I am a dedicated physiotherapist and Gazetted State Officer currently serving at the Armed Forces Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine (AFIRM), where I deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care in a multidisciplinary clinical environment. I hold a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from Khyber Medical University, where I graduated with distinction and was honored with a Gold Medal for academic excellence. I completed my clinical house job at Lady Reading Hospital, Peshawar—the largest tertiary care hospital in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa—where I gained extensive hands-on experience managing a diverse range of cases across multiple specialties. Currently, I am pursuing my MS in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy from KMU, with a strong focus on advancing clinical reasoning, manual therapy skills, and evidence-based practice in musculoskeletal rehabilitation. Alongside clinical practice, I have a deep passion for teaching and mentorship. I actively instruct internees during their clinical rotations in wards and rehabilitation gyms, and I am involved in teaching Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) students through structured academic sessions. I aim to bridge the gap between theory and clinical application, fostering critical thinking and professional growth among future physiotherapists. My professional interests include musculoskeletal rehabilitation, functional recovery, and optimizing patient outcomes through individualized treatment planning. I am committed to continuous learning, clinical excellence, and contributing to the advancement of physiotherapy practice.
