I had the opportunity to learn a lot during my recent work experiences, including: - Conducting a technical comparison between Tonly TL875 and Komatsu HD785 dump trucks. This involved analyzing factors like productivity, fuel consumption, engine performance curves, and maintenance costs to identify ways to improve productivity while minimizing operating and maintenance expenses. - Collaborating with Chinese companies Tonly and CMEC, where I gained valuable experience coordinating with Chinese workers, inspecting their workshops, and studying engine overhauling, gears maintenance, compressors, and oil storage methods. - Studying coal handling systems (CHS), including the operations and workings of hoppers, crushers, scrap chains, belts, transfer towers, stacker reclaimers, safety switches, and stockyards. - Exploring all the systems of silos, including the purpose and operation of telescopic chutes, hydraulic systems, transition chutes, storage tanks, and safety devices. I even participated in the pre-commissioning of a silo. - Preparing and delivering project and final presentations that summarized my findings and recommendations. Overall, these experiences helped me develop a diverse range of skills and knowledge, from technical analysis and maintenance to cross-cultural communication and project management. I'm eager to apply what I've learned to new challenges and opportunities.
