I am a molecular cancer biologist with dual Master’s training in Molecular Genetics and Biomedical Science (Distinction), with research experience spanning gene expression regulation, tumor immunology, and translational cancer biology. My academic work has focused on: • MicroRNA expression profiling in 200 clinical breast cancer samples. • Immunomodulatory cytokine regulation in cervical cancer cells. • Functional assays including flow cytometry, ELISA, and apoptosis analysis. I am particularly interested in understanding how cancer stem cells and tumor cells regulate immune interactions to promote survival and progression. My long-term goal is to contribute to mechanistic and translational research that bridges molecular discovery with therapeutic innovation.Technical expertise includes:• Mammalian cell culture• qRT-PCR & gene expression analysis• Flow cytometry (Annexin V/PI)• Cytokine quantification (ELISA)• Experimental design & data interpretationI am actively seeking PhD opportunities and research collaborations in cancer biology, tumor immunology, and stem cell–immune interactions.
Graduate Student Researcher in Biomedical Science worked on Hela Cell Lone Culture to study Cytokine induced Immunomodulation in Cervical Cancer Dissertation: "Immunomodulatory Role of IL-37 in Cervical Cancer Cells" Key laboratory work: Maintained mammalian cancer cell cultures for experimental analysis Conducted cytokine stimulation assays using recombinant IL-37 Performed apoptosis detection using flow cytometry Quantified inflammatory cytokines using ELISA assays Analysed experimental datasets using statistical tools
• Conducted medical tutoring sessions, enhancing students' understanding of complex medical concepts and methodologies. • Engaged in research writing and data analysis, contributing to clinical reports and scientific literature. • Developed expertise in health and safety protocols, public health, and allied health education.
• Supported routine diagnostic laboratory operations including sample reception, centrifugation, reagent preparation, and documentation • Assisted with pre-analytical processing while maintaining strict SOP and biosafety compliance • Contributed to laboratory housekeeping and workflow efficiency
• Assisted in molecular oncology sample workflows, including collection, labelling, accessioning, and storage • Supported preparation steps under supervision while ensuring traceability and documentation accuracy • Followed hospital safety, infection control, and laboratory governance standards
