As a Control and Instrumentation Project Manager and Electrical Engineer, I bring over seven years of extensive experience in electrical control and instrumentation, currently serving at Rolls-Royce SMR. My role involves identifying risks across sensor selection, layout, and installation, where I have successfully created a work package consulting various stakeholders to establish a Sensor Layout Constraints Standard and Suitability Analysis. This initiative aids Plant System Engineers, Layout Teams, and Installation Teams in their design and planning processes, contributing to the efficient Sensor Selection & Integration into the Plant Systems. Previously at Agrivert Ltd, I excelled in project planning, engaging with system integrators, and leading team meetings. My responsibilities included authoring Functional Design Specifications (FDS), working on Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and developing comprehensive Control Philosophies. I am adept at managing costs and consistently meeting financial objectives, always striving to exceed stakeholder expectations through strategic planning and effective cost control. My tenure in the field of Automation has been marked by integrating advanced AI knowledge to enhance project efficiency and drive innovation. At Breely Engineering Services, I championed leadership and timely project delivery, setting new standards for excellence in engineering project management. I hold a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Central Punjab, which complements my proficiency in Control Systems. I am passionate about leveraging my skills to deliver exceptional project outcomes and contribute to the advancement of electrical and instrumentation engineering.
Providing regular project updates to senior management and stakeholders. Overseeing the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical instruments and control systems. Managing project budgets and expenses to ensure financial objectives are met. Conducting regular meetings with the project team to ensure everyone is aligned and updated on project status. Monitoring project progress and addressing any issues or delays that may arise. Developing project plans, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables. Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to define project requirements and scope.
Designing control systems for 50k Ton/Day Food/Crop Waste Anaerobic Digestion (AD) Plants. Gather invaluable insights from previous built Plants and collaborate with experienced seniors who had engaged with prior system integrators. The goal was to design and build a robust control system architecture for a typical 50K ton plant. My tasks included working on P&ID designs, and creating essential deliverables such as the Functional Design Specification (FDS), Control Philosophy and Request for Quotation (RFQ) for vendors. Identifying and engaging potential vendors, evaluating their quotes, and ensuring alignment with our requirements. Subsequently, I developed a Bid Tab to compare each vendor's offerings according to company standards, ensuring the selection of the most suitable partner for our needs.
I have been responsible for managing teams, delivering projects within specific timeframes, leading teams, executing tasks within a given timeframe, making important decisions, and ensuring efficiency throughout the process. This has required careful planning and coordination, as well as regular monitoring and adjustment of project timelines. To ensure that projects are delivered on time, I have had to work closely with team members and stakeholders to identify potential roadblocks and develop strategies for overcoming them. This has required strong leadership skills, as well as the ability to work well under pressure. To ensure that tasks are completed on time, I have had to be proactive, focused, and organized, and have had to work closely with team members to ensure that everyone is on the same page.
