Website Content Management ☐ Publish and maintain website content, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with organizational priorities. ☐ Implement major content updates and maintain featured homepage items and topical landing pages. ☐ Evaluate website structure and collaborate on improvements for UX, accessibility, and content navigation. ☐ Establish and maintain editorial workflows for recurring website updates. ☐ Approve and quality-check member-submitted event listings and other public-facing content. Social Media & Visual Content Leadership ☐ Lead development of visual content strategies, including carousels, infographics, and multimedia materials. ☐ Oversee repurposing of articles, interviews, and reports into platform-optimized digital formats. ☐ Direct creation of branded templates and recurring content frameworks. ☐ Ensure content aligns with Authors Guild messaging priorities and advocacy goals. Editorial & Cross-Department Collaboration ☐ Support editorial planning for the Bulletin and digital publications. ☐ Partner with communications and advocacy teams to ensure consistency of voice and strategic alignment. ☐ Provide editorial guidance on major organizational announcements, campaigns, and initiatives. Project & Workflow Management ☐ Lead the digital content calendar, ensuring coordination across teams and timely delivery of assets. ☐ Develop and maintain documentation for digital processes, standards, and workflows. ☐ Manage timelines and deliverables for digital campaigns and content initiatives. Analytics & Optimization ☐ Monitor performance across Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, Mailchimp, Sprout Social, and social platforms. ☐ Develop reports that provide insights and strategic recommendations to leadership. ☐ Identify trends and opportunities to increase engagement and improve content effectiveness. ☐ Guide optimization efforts across all digital channels.
