I am a passionate and motivated BS Botany graduate with a CGPA of 4.0/4.0 (Gold Medalist) from the University of Swat. My academic journey has been enriched through research in plant physiology, molecular biology, and genetics.. My final year project/thesis focused on The Efficacy of Proline Seed Priming on Salt Stress Tolerance of Wild and Cultivated Lentil (Lens culinaris Medik) Genotypes, where I investigated the morpho-physiological and biochemical attributes of Lentils (Lens culinaris) genotypes under the combined effects of proline and salt stress. Beyond academics, I am actively involved in building my personal and professional skills. I have also developed my leadership, communication, public speaking, and problem-solving skills through my participation in the Aspire Leaders Program, which has expanded my capacity for interdisciplinary collaboration. I am actively seeking opportunities such as internships, fellowships, and scholarships to further refine my skills and gain hands-on experience in the fields of plant science. These opportunities will allow me to pursue higher education, with a specific focus on advanced studies in Plant Sciences! My long-term goal is to become a Research Scientist specializing in Plant Science, contributing to groundbreaking researches, and solutions in sustainable agriculture and climate resilience.
As an advocate for the 'Keeping the Planet Cool with Microalgae' campaign, I actively contribute to raising awareness about the significant role that Micro algae and Diatoms play in CO2 removal and Bioremediation.
Took a career break to work on my professional development through taking some insightful and highly skilled courses on Coursera through Digital Learning & Skills Enrichment Initiative (DLSEI), Pakistan. Some of the courses including, Work Smarter with Microsoft Excel, Work Smarter with Microsoft PowerPoint, and Work Smarter with Microsoft Word.
