Extensive experience serving as IT Manager, IT Director and CxO in Legal IT. Responsible for strategic delivery, continuous renewal and integration of communications, practice management, content management, case management, infrastructure and cyber security for two top 100 UK law firms. Previously a Consulting Engineer for a global BIOS firmware manufacture delivering new products to the world's computer manufactures in the Intel Wired-For-Management and Microsoft Net PC spaces. Started life as a pre-sales Network Engineer for a successful London computer and network systems reseller, working across finance, banking, local government and healthcare clients in London and South East.
Executing consultancy and contractor engagements, ranging from small IT projects to strategic top-down reviews, across diverse industry sectors, including law firms, hotels, museums and HMOs. Mentoring and championing the best business practices using reviews, KPIs, SLAs, cyber and vender management solutions and incorporating Prince, Agile and ITIL delivery standards.
In 2016, the first top 100 UK law firm to move all its ICT services (telephony, storage and compute) entirely to external cloud vendors.
Responsible for all aspects of Information and Communication Technology, cultivating an excellent expert internal ICT team and delivering a strong reputation for Legal ICT.
The role evolved rapidly, from responsibility for the desktop build on to servers, applications, systems and ultimately through to a complete refresh of all IT; taking up the position of acting IT Director in 2002. In 2001, LG were the first 100+ non-US customer to buy and successfully implement iManage document management system.
Frequently spent a week each month in the offices of various global computer manufactures assisting, training and developing the first networked BIOS solutions.
