1. Coordinates shipments for relayed CPChem products and therefore: • contacts and coordinates the activities of warehouses, carriers and surveyors; sends them notifications and all documentation required for the shipment. • fosters product handling/shipment in compliance with the Company’s safety standards and international safety, security and environmental legislation to minimize the risk of incidents/accidents. • follows-up (daily) and ensures that the shipments were carried out as per the order requirements. 2. Handles any transport related issues or complaints: • follows- up on transports in case of problems. • assists in finding a transport solution. • handles the complaints and updates the Customer Feedback System. 3. Ensures that all stakeholders (CSR, plant, Service Provider) are timely informed about all aspects of the shipment. 4. Ensures that all relayed tasks and actions are fully compliant with internal and external regulations such as ISO, OE, etc.
Operation • Schedule transportation with carriers, plants and warehouses based on order requirements • Optimize daily loading schedules • Book and organize transportation for the account of plants for all transport modes • Initiate and co-ordinate any emergency shipment (product availability, transportation issues, etc.) • Daily monitor the good execution of the orders and the potential actions to be taken as needed • Request of quotes with different carriers in case of spot businesses • Participate to all transport related complaints investigation and resolution; implement corrective actions as decided Communication • Ensure daily ongoing communication with plants, Customer Care and carriers • Ensure continuous good relationship / communication with carriers, plants to enforce faultless and on time shipments and delivery
