In my role as tutor, I was dedicated to supporting my students through both their academic challenges and the personal hardships brought on by the Covid-19 pandemic. I created my own curriculum, adapting my teaching methods to each student's unique learning style, and assisted with homework.
I had the exciting opportunity to be a part of the Waksman Student Scholars Program, where I was introduced to the world of genetics. My hands-on experience involved isolating genes from a cDNA library and successfully sequencing a unique genetic sequence. My work being published on GenBank.
