A social enterprise start-up that aimed at establishing a platform for local non-profits - a dedicated space focused on nurturing and championing local civil society organisations in support of their mission. The purpose was to create a trusted network that reduces the burden and costs of finding and building new partnerships, and an environment where all stakeholders could achieve truly equitable partnerships that promote the credibility of the supported partners first and foremost.
Huozhi is a social impact enterprise designed to cut transaction costs and risk out of aid to crisis zones by providing a vehicle for donations of safe and direct financial assistance to ‘unbankable’ people. Huozhi was started with the purpose to enable more families to stay in their home country with dignity, allow local business to survive and rebuild, and support donors to optimize value for money while reducing the risk of financial crime.
REACH Programme Coordinator for a UNHCR funded assessment of Venezuelan asylum seekers and migrants into northern Brazil. Designed and implemented an assessment of how Venezuelan persons of concern were integrating into major urban areas along the primary corridor from Pacaraima on the Brazil-Venezuela border down to Manaus.
