R&D Engineer at Raya Electric with a background in Electrical Engineering and a strong interest in innovation, product development, and technical problem-solving. In my current role, I contribute to R&D projects by developing and improving engineering solutions, exploring new technologies, and supporting the product development process from concept to implementation. I’m always looking to grow my technical expertise and collaborate with teams that are focused on building impactful engineering solutions.
• Executed routine maintenance activities by leveraging expert knowledge in equipment systems. • Led a team of technicians, enhancing productivity and reducing response times. • Engineered equipment modifications by applying advanced control systems and PLC knowledge improving process automation. • Resolved equipment faults by leveraging strong problem-solving skills and technical expertise. • Mastered reading equipment single-line diagrams and user manuals for Variable Frequency Drives. • Analyzed maintenance team KPIs, gaining critical insights into performance metrics.
Successfully completed a comprehensive course in Classic Control, PLC, and Motor Drives from HA Consulting Group, where I engaged in 60 diverse tasks across three key areas. In Classic Control, I attended six lectures and tackled 20 tasks, including simulation projects with CADe and hands-on hardware assignments. For PLC Programming, I completed six lectures and 37 tasks using software like TIA Portal and FactoryIO, working with multiple PLCs, including Schneider and Siemens, while constructing circuits with various sensors. Lastly, I participated in four lectures on motor drive programming and successfully executed three tasks utilizing drives from Gesic, Yaskawa, and LS.
• Studied and gained expertise in Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), Soft Starters and Ring Main Units (RMUs). • Acquired comprehensive knowledge of Substation Automation Systems and Microgrids. • Familiarized myself with Schneider Electric's EcoStruxure solution. • Collaborated effectively with fellow interns to create and deliver informative presentations on our learnings. • Demonstrated hands-on skills by actively participating in the setup and configuration of a Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) gaining practical experience with industrial automation equipment.
• Studied plastic injection molding process and parameters • Calculating material waste for different plastic injection molds and finding methods to reduce waste • Weekly meeting with the head of operations to discuss findings and improvements • Electric water heater weld inspection • Electric water heater testing including ground fault protection, insulation resistance and overload protection • Understanding how ISO 9001 is being implemented as part of the quality control process
