I work as a doctoral researcher at the Department of Geography at FAU. My research focuses on developing methods for integrating multi-level remote sensing data, obtaining ice thickness data from Patagonian outlet glaciers using a helicopter-borne GPR system, and using numerical modelling to invert these observational data sets for ice thickness reconstructions of glacier systems. I am particularly interested in ice dynamics, GPR measurements, remote sensing and mostly enjoy spending time in the field.
Tutoring the physical geography lectures of Prof. Bräuning (Biogeography) and Prof. Mölg (Climatology).
Developing and implementing a webbased DBMS + UI based on a postgreSQL DB for biogeographic research related data types at the Institute of Geography.
