Lombardy, Italy
Having grown up in Germany (to 2004) and South Africa (to 2008) I completed my European Baccalaureate in Oxfordshire, UK in 2016. After starting my journey to becoming a designer at Brunel University London, I completed my master’s degree in Design and Engineering at Politecnico di Milano. My strengths as a designer are a scientific and persistent approach and a technical viewpoint. I have experience working with small teams, and collaborating with companies to ideate creative, human-centred concepts and developed designs with real potential for mass production. Prior to starting university, I got international hands-on experience from internships and volunteering work in the UK, India, Austria, and Uganda. As part of my studies I have completed a design placement in the field of additive manufacturing in Germany and anthropometrics-driven orthopaedic design in Switzerland. My work experience so far includes design, research & development, and production system analysis.
