Managing the technical operation for mini-grid in 5 different African countries. ( Nigeria, Benin, Tanzania, Zambia, Uganda) During the construction phase of the mini-grid, in charge of all HSE aspect - EPC HSE audit , ensure that all HSE standard are followed, KPI, reports. Leading the technical and operation team for all sites under operation . Developing new process and procedure to facilitate and improve the monitoring and maintenance of the sites. In charge of following and optimizing the OPEX in the 5 different countries where we operate. Managing the expansion phase of old sites (design, procurement, construction ). Piloting new technology, new innovation in different sites to improve the sustainability of our project. HSE manager for the mini-grid activity Coordinating all the maintenance and troubleshooting activities to ensure the service quality of our mini-grids. Field trips in the different countries to ensure all process and procedure are well-followed. Training the new team to ensure their are using the different tools and respecting the process.
· Structure and manage the technical team: recruit and train new employees, including local technicians in adding new connections and solving technical problems on mini-grids · Develop the budget, follow the monthly portfolio, and make end-of-month comments on the technical part · Responsible for the application of the HSSE (Health, Safety, Security and Environment) standards of the ENGIE Group within the company · Provide training and awareness-raising for all the players who visit our sites, in particular employees and our subcontractors · Collaborate with all team members to design the next MySolGrid · Evaluate the technical feasibility of new innovative products and services: understand customer needs and propose solutions · Carry out a permanent technological watch · Ensure the continuous improvement of tools, best practices and internal skills
