I graduated from Ohio University with a Bachelor of Science in Communication Science and Disorders and a minor in Psychology. In addition, I had the opportunity to take American Sign Language courses and have obtained a Professional Deaf Resources Liaison Certificate. I am currently a second-year graduate student at Ohio University obtaining my Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology. Throughout my time at Ohio University, I have had the opportunity to grow my clinical, collaboration, problem-solving, and time-management skills. I have grown in my passion for working with pediatric children on their language, articulation, and swallowing skills.
• Planned and implemented therapy with children ages 2-12, focusing on articulation, language, feeding, swallowing, and fluency skills. • Assessed children in their receptive and expressive language as well as their articulation skills using standardized and non-standardized measures of assessment • Conducted thorough chart reviews, wrote accurate evaluation reports, and documented sessions using the software Epic
• Implemented therapy with preschool children with articulation, language, and pragmatic difficulties through play, shared book reading, and structured group-based activities • Assessed preschool children in their receptive and expressive language skills using standardized and non-standardized measures of assessment • Observed collaborative interactions between parents, school personnel, and other professionals during ARD (Admission Review Dismissal) meetings
