Relationship Readiness & Self-Image Coach | I Help Women Heal Emotionally, Prepare for Healthy Love & Express Confidence Through Style 💙🧵

About

👋🏾 I’m a Mental Health Coach, Speaker, and Style Enthusiast helping women navigate life’s transitions with grace— and rediscover who they are through the way they show up, inside and out. With a background in psychology, counseling, and fashion, I bridge the gap between emotional wellness and personal style. I believe how we dress is a reflection of how we see ourselves — and when we align our inner healing with our outer expression, we attract the kind of love and life we’re truly ready for. As the founder of BlackGirlMental, I spent years creating safe spaces for Black women to talk about mental health. Now, I’m expanding that mission to focus on relationship readiness and self-image coaching — guiding women to heal emotionally, prepare spiritually, and embody confidence through style. My approach is grounded in: • Psychology and spiritual formation • Fashion as a tool for identity, confidence, and self-regulation • Biblically-rooted, trauma-informed coaching • Real-life lessons from my journey as a wife, mom, model, and cochlear implant wearer — learning how to own my presence unapologetically. Whether I’m hosting workshops, speaking at conferences, or helping clients audit their wardrobes, my mission remains the same: To help women dress, love, and live in alignment with their highest, healthiest selves. Experience

  • Founder/Chief Executive Officer at BlackGirlMental
    Aug 2021 - Oct 2025 · 4 yrs 3 mos

BlackGirlMental is an emerging virtual wellness space for Black women. Many Black women and girls are unable to access mental health and wellness services due to financial reasons or an inability to find a practitioner who comfortably speaks to their experience. However, they deserve to be uniquely cherished, protected, heard and loved on their journeys toward healing. We will soon be offering yoga classes and health coaching via Zoom and phone. Eventually, we’ll offer therapy, financial help, wellness products, and more. The vision is to have a platform where a diverse selection of experts can share their wisdom for an affordable price and hold space for community-based wellness. In the far future, I’d like to have a brick-and-mortar storefront where women can go in-person for these services.
