The team has in charge the design of the automation systems for the following plants: - reheating furnace for long product (billet, small bloom, beam blank) - reheating furnace for flat product (slab, big bloom) - heat treatment system (Bell furnace, chamber furnace, pit) - Induction furnace (billet, thin slab, rebar) Both level 1 (basic automation) and Level 2 (Modeling and optimization) are performed by the team members. Brief description of my responsabilities and duties: - Team coordination and planning of the activities to achieve time and effectiveness - Product development and improving by continuous injection of new ideas, technology and resources - Modelization of the industrial process to obtain advanced control and increase the fuel savings - Study and appliance of the most common international norm ruling the usage of fuels in industrial heating systems (EN746, NFPA86, AS, BN) - keep the team knowledge at the state of art of technology. - Project leader for the big project or for strategic and/or demanding customers - Coordination with other areas of the company.
