App. 32 000 ports were migrated to the Cisco Call Manager and app. 25 000 new VoIP phones were rolled-out in Germany.

Main target: cost reduction of the line cost for the WAN by changing from T-Systems to the cheapest provider for the particular location (branch). The project was finished successfully with the expected cost reductions from app. 4 Mio. €. Start of the project ‘Campus Redesign’: Migration from the old ATM Network to Gigabit Ethernet with the targets listed below: Improvement of the network availability, improvement of the error rate of the network, implementation of the actual network architecture und improvement of the operatability of the network.
