I have always been impressed by the strong positive energy that is released in these processes. Very often I experienced first-hand how much hard and persistent work is needed before a scientific observation finally becomes a useful treatment for many patients, and I have a great respect for the effort involved. With over twenty years of leadership experience in healthcare management, I have had the privilege of working alongside many talented individuals who have dedicated their expertise to improving patient care and treatment. • P&L Responsibility • No 1 pharmaceutical company in Switzerland since June 2013 • Two products within Top Ten in Swiss Market: Lucentis® & Gilenya® • Developing and leading the CPO strategy and portfolio development, aligned with Global/RE standards and in line with internal Compliance internal codes and legal constraints • Driving effective use of resources according to commercial priorities of the CPO • Leading the development of innovative ways to shape the environment and maximizing the business within the compliance and quality framework • Performing effective leadership and management of the CPO • Actively driving talent development according to CPO needs and Global requirements • Demonstrating strong and visible support for the pharmaceutical quality system and ensure the implementation throughout the organization; QA reporting directly to CPO Head • Responsible for Integration of additional business units and setup of Product Life Cycle Services March 2013 Relocation of Novartis Pharma Schweiz AG from Bern to Rotkreuz • Leading the relocation including site selection, consultation phase, change management process, communication strategy internally as well externally etc. • Leading the implementation of one HR and Procurement department reporting directly to the CPO Head Pharma across all divisions
• Developing strategy and portfolio development plan for the CPO, aligned with the CPO priorities and Global and Regional requirements • Managing the effective implementation of global product strategies to increase the patient market share through launches in the field of Cardiovascular, Respiratory, Rheumatology, Neuroscience • Ensuring fast product approvals and attractively priced listings at all relevant payor reimbursement schemes for the Novartis product range • Performing effective leadership and management of the Marketing, Customer Service, Marketing & Sales Operation and event management team • Leading talent development according to CPO needs and global requirements
