I am a Data Governance + Data Management professional with a strong foundation in classic data management principles + a forward-looking approach to modern implementation. My work sits at the intersection of business, technology, risk + execution: building governance frameworks, strengthening metadata practices, improving data quality, documenting lineage + helping organizations turn complex data environments into well-governed, usable ecosystems. I am known for precision, structure + practical follow-through. I bridge the gap between business stakeholders, data engineering teams + technology partners by translating complex data concepts into clear, actionable decisions. Whether I am developing business glossaries, supporting data stewardship, mapping critical data elements, documenting ETL / ELT processes, or preparing teams for SIT / UAT, my focus is always the same: make data easier to understand, easier to trust + easier to govern. My background includes hands-on experience across Data Governance, Data Quality Management, Metadata Management, Master Data Management, Data Lineage, Data Classification, Reference Data Management + Data Cataloging. I have worked with platforms + tools including Collibra, Snowflake, dbt, Appian, Oracle Fusion Cloud, PeopleSoft, Power BI, Tableau, Python + advanced Microsoft Excel. I bring domain experience in finance + insurance, including Financial Data Management, NAIC Reporting, Statutory Reporting, SOX Compliance, Regulatory Compliance, Risk Management + data privacy awareness. I also bring strong process discipline across requirements gathering, user story writing, business analysis, RACI development, change management, process documentation, workshop facilitation, training + executive communication. I am especially interested in where Data Governance is headed next: enterprise use of Generative AI, prompt engineering, AI Governance + modern operating models such as Data Mesh. I believe strong governance does not slow innovation down. Done well, it creates the trusted foundation that lets innovation scale responsibly. At my best, I bring old-school integrity, modern execution + a steady leadership presence. I help teams cut through the noise, spot risks early + build data practices that are not just documented, but durable.
