• Provided full-cycle recruiting support, managing job postings, interview coordination, and candidate communication. • Ensured smooth onboarding and Day 1 experiences by collaborating across HR systems and teams. • Maintained accurate HRIS/ATS data management and processed employee changes efficiently.
• Supported end-to-end onboarding operations, including global background checks, references, I-9/E-Verify, and new-hire orientations • Served as a People Team liaison across key employment events—onboarding, terminations, promotions, benefits, leaves, and transfers • Assisted with employee immigration processes (H-1B transfers, Green Card steps, O-1 filings, etc.) • Organized and maintained accurate, confidential employee records within the HRIS • Helped communicate, interpret, and maintain the global employee handbook and supported policy updates and compliance initiatives • Supported compliance audits and required reporting (I-9, EEO-1, ACA, HCSO, and additional regulatory filings) • Contributed to People Team projects including company-wide events, team socials, and learning sessions • Collaborated with Payroll, Finance, and IT to ensure accurate employee data and smooth onboarding/offboarding processes
• Assist in the preparation of the annual performance evaluations across each department; • Execute all employee termination procedures, including advising employees on their rights and any benefits they are entitled to; • Ensure employee data accuracy in the HRIS such as changes in employee information (i.e., promotions, address changes, schedule changes, compensation adjustments.) • Act as the point of contact for HR related questions such as the employee handbook, time off, benefits and HR policies; • Any duties pertaining to the HR assistant role;
• Organize and maintain Executive files, reports, and related forms & materials. • Assist in the preparation of office correspondence, documents, and program materials. • Facilitate communication and administrative work between Executive Director, Deputy Director, Fiscal Director, and Program/Project Directors. • Responsible for correspondence with JCYC Board Members, and Board Sub-Committees • Maintain and update JCYC’s Fundraising Database. • Support communication and relations with agency donors. • Coordinate agency communications including newsletters, staff bulletin, and other public relations materials. • When necessary, represent the Executive Director in public forums.
•Assists with the maintenance of employee benefits programs including processing benefit changes, interacting with third party providers, reconciling monthly bills, coordinating COBRA enrollment, and supporting annual open enrollment process; •Supports agency staffing by posting open positions, issuing offer letters, monitoring fingerprinting clearances, and providing new hire orientations; Provides support in researching labor and wage issues and supports compliance and record keeping of city wide ordinances; •Coordinates with the fiscal department in processing of forms and maintaining data integrity in accounting and HR systems; •Maintains employee databases and files, assists with record retention and destruction, and completes requests for verification of employment; •Acts as a point of contact for employee relations and responds to employee requests; •Provide support to the Executive Administration and Administration team in regards to clerical tasks, program assistance, facilities, calendaring, planning and fundraising
• Conducted online database entry for over 200 dissertations using library software, including Alma and OCLC. • Proofread and edited dissertation abstracts, ensuring accuracy against Proquest records before database release. • Cross-checked authorization for dissertation releases, managing files accordingly to comply with release dates.
• Managed the organization, filing, and labeling of thousands of sensitive documents for retired professors at UC Davis. • Collaborated with a team to classify documents and videos based on their content, ensuring accurate archiving. • Successfully processed materials onto Archive Space while maintaining confidentiality and integrity of information.
