Manage projects by: determining strengths and interests of team members to support project success and a positive working environment; co-creating and administering intergovernmental agreements and consultant contracts; administering grants; engaging the public; updating project webpages; reviewing and creating complex work products; and, coordinating with state and local partner agencies on topics ranging from land use, to parks, to drinking water, to transportation, to natural resources Co-lead regional effort to seek Better Utilizing Investments to Leverage Development (BUILD) (2020) and Rebuilding American Infrastructure with Sustainability & Equity (RAISE) (2021) competitive US Department of Transportation federal grant funds for a one-mile segment of Franklin Boulevard among a team of City of Springfield, City of Eugene, and Lane Transit District staff. Successfully obtain the RAISE grant award for $19 million- the region's first federal grant award of this kind Secure Technical Assistance grant funds from the Oregon Department of Land Conservation and Development Serve as point of contact and coordinator of TEAM Springfield agency projects, including joint efforts by Springfield Utility Board and Rainbow Water District to protect Springfield's water supply and by Willamalane Park and Recreation District to create and adopt area-specific master plans and to update its 20-year Comprehensive Plan Update the Downtown Sign Code with a focus on design and human experience Deliver presentations and reports to a variety of audiences, including: community members; appointed and elected officials; and advisory boards/committees Bring creativity to engaging community members and other stakeholders in ways that make technical work accessible and visually interesting Draft ordinances and resolutions Organize and speak at conference sessions
Researched, drafted, presented, and co-managed amendments to Lane Code Chapter 15 while leading public involvement component—including identification of stakeholders and their interests Managed creation of Lane County’s first ADA Transition Plan for is public right-of-way Managed preparation and adoption of County’s Capital Improvement Program for transportation projects Presented written, graphic, and verbal findings and recommendations to the Lane County Transportation Advisory Committee and Board of Commissioners Secured grant funding for transportation projects, including $1.2 million in Central Lane Metropolitan Planning Organization funds for sidewalks and bike lanes Prepared content for project webpages and other media Coordinated process for and led comments on master plan updates and land use applications submitted to Lane County and agency partners including Coburg, Creswell, Eugene, Florence, and Springfield Met with the development community to resolve concerns about required transportation improvements

Prepared and delivered lectures to a class of over 120 undergraduate students Led, developed activities, and graded assignments for weekly breakout discussion sections Created course materials targeted toward student success and interest areas
Teamed with Eugene’s Waste Prevention & Green Building Program to develop policies and programs for diverting materials from the landfill by evaluating practices for waste management including regulatory frameworks, incentive-based approaches, and knowledge extension Worked with 9 divisions at City of Eugene to assess departmental needs for information and to facilitate understanding of how departments collaborated to complete tasks Recommended updates to Eugene’s Neighborhood Analyses by meeting with neighborhood associations, developing online surveys, and researching effective methods for information display Co-facilitated round table discussions for EWEB’s Smart Meter Pilot Program Determined indicators for local strategic planning and performance measurement projects while considering how clients may use the indicators internally and for communicating with an external audience.
