I’m an entrepreneur who’s never worked exclusively for anyone in my 45+ year career — business truly runs in my DNA. My first “company” began at age 9 in Guyana, South America, selling my grandfather’s empty rum bottles. Getting paid for “junk” sparked a lifelong curiosity about value creation, innovation, and independence. By my teens in Brooklyn, I was managing a retail fabric store, selling door-to-door, and learning the fundamentals of sales, leadership, and customer service the hard way — through real hustle. I discovered that if I could create value, I’d never have to depend on anyone else for my livelihood. In my 20s, I transitioned from Wall Street mainframes to personal computers — teaching myself COBOL, JCL, and early business coding. I went on to build financial and government software systems that won over $1.2 million in grants for innovation, including the first biometric time & attendance solution for local government. In the 2000s, we launched Agape Development Services, delivering software, networking, and training solutions — long before “digital transformation” was a buzzword. I later developed the first recurring-revenue software for labor unions and expanded into real estate investing across four U.S. states. In 2016, I combined my tech and business background to create our first online course, a $99 offer that generated over $3.8M in sales and helped more than 40,000 students. That success inspired my brand, Monetize Present Knowledge™, which helps professionals, coaches, authors, and healers turn their expertise into scalable online businesses.
