As a librarian working in the non-profit sector for over twenty years, Molly Krichten works to align the vision of communities with the services and strategy of public libraries. Holding awards and leadership designations from state and national professional associations, Molly facilitates creative and productive conversations engaging people in the everyday excellence that results in strategic victories. Molly has the knowledge, experience, and drive to work toward common good through thoughtful connection with community members, service organizations, and other partners. Colleagues appreciate Molly’s ability to consider and advocate for underrepresented populations, while not speaking on behalf of groups out of turn. Her experiences in the suburbs of Baltimore, the city of Pittsburgh, shores of Southwest Florida, and the rural expanses of West Virginia informs her sensibilities about service to the underserved. When Molly is not forging community relationships, you can find her eating ice cream and enjoying the performing arts.
