Serve as a Category Analyst combining global category management and procurement analytics to drive data-driven sourcing decisions and cost savings. Own and manage selected Direct categories at global level, defining category strategies and leading end-to-end sourcing activities including RFx execution, supplier negotiation, and contract implementation. Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, evaluate total cost of ownership (TCO), and ensure alignment with procurement strategy. Leverage advanced analytics by developing Power BI dashboards and spend analysis tools to identify savings opportunities and track performance. Analyze spend patterns and supplier data to support strategic decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives. Monitor supplier KPIs (OTD, quality, non-conformities), and support supplier qualification and performance management. Develop and implement non-conformity management tools and RCCM (Root Cause & Countermeasure) frameworks to strengthen supplier performance and process standardization. Ensure data accuracy across ERP systems and act as a key liaison across functions, while performing internal auditing to ensure compliance with procurement processes.
Serve as first point of contact of end-user community for data-related queries. Be responsible for adherence to standard processes for data management. Be responsible for creation and maintenance of plant level & purchasing organization specific data. To execute buying transactions, in such a way that products and services are delivered in time within boundary conditions. Convert requisition to purchase order using appropriate contract (if no contract is in place, then SPOT BUY). Ensure supplier invoices can be 3-way matched by Account Payables and paid. Provide technical information, samples, literature and general corporate and information about Dow Chemical and subsidiaries to key-customers. Document customer requests in an accurate manner. Strengthen working relationships with external stakeholders, qualify leads and follow them at the beginning of the sales cycle. Supporting new joiners through weekly meetings.
Support partners in all booking-related processes, coordinate the going live of vacation rentals on the platform, ensure and continuously improve a high level of customer oriented service, interact with the product and content team as well as external partners to enhance integrations and ensure smooth processes, build strong relationships with the key-customers and actively support them to increase revenues (including upselling), improve cross-team collaboration, manage administrative logistics of events planning (including event booking and event promotions).
