I am highly passionate in the world of property law and conveyancing. During my time as a trainee at Jacob’s Law Solicitors. In this role, I managed real estate transactions, conducted property searches, prepared legal documents, and ensures regulatory compliance, gaining hands on experience working in a legal environment. I have previously worked at The Central England Law Centre Law Clinic, focusing specifically on Personal Independence Payment, housings matters and benefits such as Universal Credit. Working alongside experienced legal professionals to support clients through complex legal challenges, interacting directly with clients to understand their needs and provide necessary support. I have also participated in virtual internship programs with law firms specifically Leo Cussen and Hogan Lovells, where I strengthened my skills in preparing documentation, creating file note instructions and more. As a trainee at Central England Law Centre focusing on Personal Independence Payment (PIP) claims and housing matters, I have engaged in supporting clients through the complexities of welfare benefits and housing law. My responsibilities include assisting with the preparation and submission of PIP applications, applying for mandatory reconsideration, providing advice on housing rights, and representing clients in appeals and disputes. This role offered me a unique opportunity to develop my legal skills while advocating for vulnerable individuals and ensuring they receive the support and justice they deserve in challenging circumstances.
My participation in this virtual internship with Leo Cussen has strengthened my knowledge and skills in creating documentation requesting psychiatric reports for client proceedings, preparing pre-interview advice for clients facing criminal charges and preparing file note instructions for meeting clients.
