Project – Wakrah and Wukair Drainage Tunnel Project (Construction of 13.3Km underground drainage tunnel) • Activities involved in – Supervision for the construction of Drainage Tunnel with the help of EPB Tunnel Boring Machines (TBM) followed by installation of Corrosion Protection Lining (CPL). TBM parameters are monitored with respect to geological conditions of the site. • Supervising the construction of 8no’s of deep underground shafts involving civil structures like shaft walls, pre-cast beams and top slabs, riser pipes and ancillary structures associated with the DT, including hydraulic structures, provisions for future hydraulic connections, stub-outs, air intake vaults and provisions for flow monitoring. • Involved in preparation of weekly & monthly progress reports and presentation related to the Tunnel Boring Machine, Corrosion Protection Lining, deep underground shaft structures, material approval and inspection status. • Ensuring the proper implementation of inspection and testing procedures, Project specification, QA/QC procedures, Method statements, and ITPs through surveillance and monitoring of the daily site activities. • Planning & conducting interface meetings between different departments such as design, Utilities, stakeholders, etc. for proper coordination and efficient working environment. • Issue Pro-active Notification & Non-Conformance Report (NCR) to the Construction Organization representative/ Contractors if violation on the quality standard is observed. • Raising the safety awareness and quality standards among the team members through continuous training sessions while updating and keeping track of lesson learnt activities.
Project – Hyderabad Metro Rail (Operations & Maintenance of 69 Km Elevated Viaduct for Hyderabad City including stations & Depot). • Activities involved in – Leading a team of 20 Project engineers in monitoring the maintenance inspections of elevated cantilever station buildings involving Routine inspections & detailed inspections followed by the corrective/preventive measures. • Maintenance activity is carried for the structural, architectural & finishing elements of the stations. • Pro-actively involved with the Utility management team for planning and shifting of utilities infringing with the civil structures.
