Handling logistics operations in KSA
Additional responsibility added to me by handling West distribution center which located in Jeddah. West DC taking the responsibility of customers’ orders delivery which covering retailers, wholesalers, groceries, catering companies, restaurants, hotels, …etc.
To oversee and ensure effective and efficient main warehouse and export logistics activities to provide services for business team within agreed cost, time and quality to support in achieving company revenue targets. To achieve that following main tasks describing my job responsibilities: o Organize and supervise the activities and work of subordinates to ensure that all work carried out in effective and efficient way. o Develop policies, processes and procedures. o Monitor team compliance with all relevant safety, quality and environmental standards and take corrective actions when necessary to ensure a healthy and safe work environment. o Prepares department annual budget o Monitors financial performance of the department against budgets o Contributes to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices taking into account ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.
- Monitor plant performance through agreed KPI’s targets - Review & approve production order, materials and maintenance requests. - Improve manpower productivity - New Product feasibility study including cost distribution - Leading Machines re-locating project. - Establishing maintenance schedules (AM& PM) - Preparing and negotiating contracts for semi-finished items. - Developing quality control system - Handling Purchasing & warehouse departments in last 5 months.
- Feasibility studies for SIDF loan application (Saudi Industrial Development fund) - Research in Industrial field - Studies for developing an existing factories - Technical Studies
