Responsible for overseeing the development and execution of Fire and Life Safety scope of BMP by Joint Venture (3 Contractors) in 3 operating centers, Rome, Madrid and Seoul, followed by Construction and Commissioning at site in Bahrain.
Saudi Electric Company Sponsored the Design and Construction of 2 Power Plants, Riyadh to meet the growing demand for electricity in Saudi Arabia. Each Power Plant consists of two blocks (Block 10 and Block 20) with each block being a three-on-one combined cycle power block. Each Power Plant will be capable of generating 1650 to 1980 MW at the reference site near Riyadh. Overall responsible for managing the delivery of Fire and Gas Systems.
Project – Several Saudi Aramco General Engineering Service (GES) projects (BI-10-00567) Rehabilitation of Al-Muajjiz Crude Oil Terminal: Lead Engineer - Responsible for overall design and procurement activities which includes instrumentation and control of new oily water disposal pumps, selection & sizing of Magnetic Flowmeters for inventory measurement between Saudi Aramco & Marafiq and new GPRS type Remote Terminal Unit (RTU) for communication with Marafiq SCADA master station. (BI-10-00615) Shaybah Crude Stabilization – Abqaiq Plant: Lead Engineer - Responsible for overall design and procurement activities which includes instrumentation for new AXL crude storage tank, two new shipper pumps, replacement of 20 booster pumps, implemented foundation fieldbus design for new instrumentation together with selection and sizing of FF segment block, replacement of existing valves such as ZVs, MOVs, Control Valves, etc, H2S/LEL gas detection for pumps & crude tank and expansion of existing Emerson Delta-V DCS. (BI-10-01252/01256) Cogeneration interconnection Facilities - Abqaiq & Hawiyah: Instrumentation Support Engineer for the design of interconnection facilities for cogeneration units with work responsibilities such as reviewing & checking the deliverables related to cable routing using PDS, metering skid instrumentation etc. (BI-10-01282) Master Gas Expansion – Phase I: Pipelines project – Responsible for overall instrumentation design activities which include design development of Scraper trap/ receiver instrumentation, H2S/LEL gas detection for scraper trap/receiver, Leak detection system, GOVs, MOVs, PZVs, and RTU for signal transmission to nearest pump stations/OSPAS.
1. Oil & Gas and Refinery Projects: SAMREF Clean Fuel Project (EPCM): Instrumentation project engineer for the execution of turnaround activities. Tasks assigned are responding to Contractor RFI(s), issued field change/revision notification, closing punch list, issued material deficiency report, synchronized with QC department in instrument loop checks, witnessed pre-commissioning & commissioning of magnetic level gauges & GWR(s), verified Contractor installation of vibration instruments on cooling fans & Multi-stage Compressors, fixed the tubing hierarchy of a BMS and Non-BMS isolation valves with lock-up valve, upgraded rotating equipment protection system with EHM Honeywell system and etc – Client: Exxon Mobil, Yanbu (BI) Gas Pipeline to SEC Metering Station: Pipelines project – Responsible for overall instrumentation design activities which include design preparation of metering skid instrumentation, RTU for signal transmission to DCS, plot limit ZVs and etc – Client: Saudi Aramco 2.
